On the to-do list.

That's a larger plugin due to all the symbs ingame.

Hello

1)
!monitor [channel] [string] [response]
I'd like to see an option that will allow the bot to monitor certain channels for certain words or strings said in them and to respond with the inputted respond.

I know there is some kind of market watch robot doing that now for WTB messages in the shopping channels, so it can be done. If this bot can do it then please be kind and tell me how. Smiley
What I have in mind is indeed similar to how the market watch bot works.

2) Can tasks include who assigned the task, be assigned to offline players, and be assinged to the bot itself?

Thank you

Monitor sounds interesting, will have to discuss about it though.

As for "tasks", what are you talking about? Need more details about that one.

1) Something like that could be implemented, but we won't include any plugin that replies based on input from public channels. FC made at one point it's stance really clear, which is: no bots on the public channels. Accounts doing so often are rewarded with temporary bans.

2) I'll have to do some checking up on how tasks worked again exactly. It's probebly going to take 2 "modes". A raid mode and an org mode. The raid mode would be the current functionality and the org mode the functionality you described.

2)
   A) Just a simple added data saying who gave the task. Right now I can see what the task it, and to whom it was assinged,
       not who assinged it.
   B) Right now you can't assign tasks to offline players. I'd like it to be possible.
   c) It's impossible to assign a task for the bot. I just thought it'd be a way to assign a task for the whole org that way.

1) So you're saying that the bot that /tells me to go to http://arpa3.net/ao every time I post WTB is against FC regulations?
Well anyway, I want the bot to monitor private chats, org channel, guest channel, etc.

The response part should support calling a script, so it'll be possible to give a more complicated respond.

Also, it shouldn't be forced to respond in the same channel or anything. If fact for what I have planned I need two responds
for the string - one in a /tell to the sender, and another to the org channel. Smiley

I hope I'm not asking for too much here ^_^

I'd like an "!online org orgname" command.  The command shows you who is online (logged into the game, not necessarily in the bot) from the org named orgname.  Output would be formatted as a standard !online window.

Don't know how it should best be implemented, but I do know Destiny's bot has it, and I like it a lot.

It's kept slipping my mind. I'll try to remember now that you mentioned it. Smiley

Message function? I don't think there is one. As in, you can tell the bot what to say. For example@

/tell Bot !message Testing

[Organization] Bot: Testing

There is one, it's just located in a wierd place.
If you load the irc plugin there is a command called !say available.

/tell bot !say gc testing
[Organization] Bot: testing

Indeed, Bebot has this plugin (which I think gathers the info from Vhab Central itself!). Would love to see it ported for VhaBot.

Have installed Vhabot recently (testing it atm) and liking it so far!

I'd like an "!tipp textfile" command.
The command shows a file with the name textfile in the orgchat.

I have a lot of files from my old bot in ao-script to show ingame howto's, like gardenkeys, tradeskillguides, SL-Gardennanos.
IGN had something similar named !info

Just thought of another command that might be of use to many people:

!asshat <nick> reason <reason>

Commandname can ofcourse be changed but you get the general idea Smiley

Could also toss it around another way and just have it be something like:

!notes <nick> <good/bad> reason <reason>

So that it can be to add good or bad notes about people you've teamed with/met/etc

Could perhaps also be handy if you do a !whois on someone that a link to the potential notes pop up as well?

A city raid plugin that counts down waves based on timer.  It auto kicks off when the cloak is down.

The "online org xxx" function.

Figure I keep asking for stuff as you guys keep spitting it out  Smiley

!cloak feature with history of raiders and the times they have raided and not just the status of the cloak.

I think this command is perfect and well thought out...if we could just have it designed to go exactly this...
