Hi!

Just wanted to share that, with minor modifications in the core it's possible to reload plugins on the fly. If anyone are intrested in such code i'll happily share code.

Basically it unloads plugins, makes scan (recompile plugins) and then loads plugins. How stable it is and safe I'm not too sure of yet. I'll get back to that later after some testing. Running it live on bot atm so i should get results rather soon.

Sounds just like an IRC bot I did a bit of coding for.

Good luck, and keep us posted Smiley

Been running this for a little over 2 weeks on live bot, and its actually working great!

There is a minor issue I've not addressed yet, if i reload a plugin which is "broken", then reload when the issue is resolved plugins are loaded in safe-mode and bot cannot interface with the plugins. However i assume this is easy to "fix". Once i have addressed this i'll share the snippets of code needed modification, for this "reload" feature.
